Maciel's Tortas & Tacos is a gem in the world of Mexican cuisine. Having savored their dishes for six years, I've never been disappointed. The burritos are a standout, boasting a perfect blend of flavors that keep me coming back. The Pollo Tortas follow closely, a testament to their consistently great taste. The mole taco is a true highlight, showcasing the chef's skill. The pricing is reasonable, adding to the overall appeal. The friendly staff enhances the dining experience, making each visit enjoyable. The chips and salsas are a league of their own, elevating the meal. This place was a cute Mexican restaurant to get a quick bite to eat. The brilla tacos were good but I felt like the meat was kind of dry. The queso was very thick and maybe it just needed to heated a little longer. Overall the taste of the foods were delicious!

Great atmosphere. This restaurant is situated in the main street and sitting by the window on the second floor gives nice views of the main street and the tram line with passing trams/ trolleys. The food was also good. It was tasty and the portion sizes were good. Service, IMO, was average.

Great experience! The soup was recommended and it was delicious, the avocado was so good and it was full of chicken. Pastor was a win as was the birria, be sure to get the consumme. The elote wasn't my favorite but it was okay, full cob. Seating is pretty good and a nice walking location on Main. Highly recommend.

Just when I thought this place couldn’t get any better, they introduce birria tacos!! GAME CHANGER!! Grabbed lunch with a buddy the other day as we work downtown. These birria tacos are exploding with great flavor and lots of fresh ingredients. Don’t shortchange yourself and pass on the beef consommé. We had the chips and salsa as well. Great value for the fresh food you get. Fast, friendly service helps during the day as well. I look forward to going back.

Stopped in for quick fast/casual lunch. Place was very small but fine for a quick lunch. My shrimp quesadilla was pretty good, very simple but the shrimp, cheese and tortilla were all very tasty. Not a lot of shrimp though and generally smaller than I had hoped. My girlfriend's spicy chicken quesadilla was more flavorful. Rice and refried beans were ok, pretty run of the mill. Overall a pretty good quick and affordable lunch.

Wow . Really really good. They are currently using the tables inside to set up to go orders so there isn't many seats if you want to eat at the restaurant but there are a couple outside . Awesome area to sit outside and enjoy a great meal . I went with a street and seafood taco selection. I had the spicy fish, spicy shrimp and spicy chicken. Nothing over powering spicy but great flavor. The pork street taco was my least favorite by far. Great meal here and really glad we stopped here. In my opinion it's definitely deserving of the high rating it has

This place is great. It's a very casual quick service restaurant with both inside and outside seating (or takeout). I had a huge burrito, and they brought chips + salsa as well as a couple hot sauce-type sauces (the avocado one was my favorite).
